This has to be one of the best restaurants in North Goa. Perfect ambience, exquisite dishes and top notch services make it an amazing experience to dine at this hidden gem of Calangute. The Penne Alfredo and Chicken Crispy are a must try. And the restaurant's closeness to Baga beach is like cherry on the cake. 10/10 recommended

Tucked just a stone’s throw away from the buzzing Tito’s Lane, Casa Portuguesa Restaurante is a surprisingly peaceful escape. The moment you step in, the place welcomes you with the charm of an old Goan villa—rustic interiors, cozy corners, and that unmistakable homely vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer.I tried the Chicken Cafreal with Roti, and it was spot on—authentic, flavorful, and cooked just right. For a change, I went with the Goan Chicken Thali, and I’m glad I did. It was not just delicious but also hearty and satisfying.A special shoutout to Prajakta, our wonderful host, who recommended trying the new drinks on the menu. They turned out to be a refreshing surprise and paired perfectly with the meal.To wrap it all up, I indulged in a slice of Bibinca, and it was the perfect sweet ending—rich, layered, and full of flavor. The ambiance of the place, with its rustic charm and peaceful setting, makes it feel like a hidden gem. Whether you're looking to relax after a long day or enjoy some authentic Goan flavors, Casa Portuguesa is definitely worth a visit.

NOT VIRAL, BUT HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED The best food we had till date, extremely fresh and delicious, with exceptional ambience and humble and professional service by the staffs.May not be that much crowd puller, but go with your loved ones and I guarantee you will have a lovely peaceful and serene time there, that too with being very affordable

I came here at random and discovered that it's a great location with a really elegant and modest décor. I had a lot of food there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with beverages. Every meal has its own unique flavor and authenticity, which is evident in the staff—especially the guys who run the restaurant. I really enjoyed Sandesh's hospitality, and I will definitely visit again when I visit Goa.

Ended up here purely by chance walking down the main road towards Baga. The restaurant was in an old Portuguese house with a real charm. We thought we'd try it out and we are so glad we did!The service here absolutely makes everything else that much better.Shailesh, our host greeted us with a warm welcome and was incredibly passionate about the restaurant and the food they serve. He gave us an overview of the concept, the background of the restaurant and was recommended some of the dishes to our taste. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, he was happy to accommodate any requests on our end. :)Having been out of India for a number of years, I've often found the service to be lacking when it comes to restaurants. Here, I honestly cannot recommend it enough. Beautiful restaurant, warm and welcoming hosts and good food.Would definitely visit again in the future. Genuinely, really really lovely folks here. Thanks for having us! :)
